About

How it all started
Phoebes journey into horticulture first started with an inquisitive nature for the outdoors, leading into a fiery and enthusiastic passion.
''Growing up in Bristol, my encounters with nature were mainly weeding paths & mowing lawns - my own version of gardening. My stepfather saw potential, nurturing my curiosity by travelling all over to agricultural college open days. It was during one of those visits at age 16, particularly at Stourhead, that I fell in love with the expansive beauty of gardens that once thrived as someone’s home. I still remember standing there, overwhelmed by the intricate detail and vastness that surrounded me - captivated by the island Liriodendron''
Phoebe studied Garden Design & Horticulture at Sparsholt. Whilst studying she also up took garden maintenance in order to gain hands-on experience and further her horticultural knowledge. Where upon graduating with a Distinction & full NPTC certification fell in love with historically dated stately homes and the grounds that surrounded.
Upon leaving education Phoebe began her restorative love story with Stitchcombe House.

What can you anticipate when collaborating with our team? It involves a six-phase journey...
Phase 1: Introductory Meeting
During this consultation, you're invited to share your vision for the area and how you wish to utilise it. We will explore various concepts, including style preferences, types of planting, and landscaping materials. After our discussion, we will provide you with a design outline that encompasses our preliminary ideas.
This introductory consultation incurs a fee, which is refundable should you choose to move forward with a complete design.
Phase 2: Comprehensive Design Plan
This stage merges your preferences with our innovative concepts. We will develop a detailed design, featuring sketches, mood boards, and perspective illustrations that demonstrate spatial organisation. You'll see proposed placements for trees, shrubs, and hedges, as well as arrangements for garden borders. The layouts will include designated spaces for patios, pathways, sculptures, water elements, and planters.
We will share these concepts with you for feedback, refining them based on your input.
Phase 3: Focusing on the specifics
We will then generate technical drawings with specifications, detailing the layout of hardscaping, lighting arrangements, and additional information about the plants to be incorporated. We will source the necessary materials. Our involvement at this stage ensures that the garden is built to exceptional standards.
Phase 4: Choosing a Landscaper
Now, we are ready to estimate the garden's cost using a detailed scope of work document. We will conduct on-site meetings with potential contractors to present the design, drawings, and instructions. Afterward, they will provide precise estimates from which we can recommend the most suitable team for your project.
Phase 5: Construction
With our engagement stretching from the initial idea to final execution, we're there to ensure that every aspect of your garden will be just right. We can make necessary adjustments as the project progresses and quickly address any unexpected challenges.
Phase 6: The Continuous Growth of Your Garden
Once construction is complete, we would be delighted to support the ongoing development of your garden. This might involve advising your gardener on optimal maintenance practices or, later on, brainstorming new additions -, restoring a flower bed, or reimagining certain parts of the garden.
